Evidence Review 15

North Wollongong 4 - 6 March

Sponsored by

The Evidence Review in Emergency Medicine is the ACEM NSW Scientific Meeting held in collaboration with PHEMC. See the timetable here Evidence Review 2015 Timetable

Have you ever felt guilty you haven’t done as much journal reading as you should? Ever find conflicting bits of information and wonder how to interpret them?

Why not let a bunch of entertaining experts take you through the latest evidence in a relaxed atmosphere. This is how the people who see themselves as serious, up to date emergency doctors, remain confident that they are keeping up. This scientific meeting is rigorous, academically sound and free of industry sponsorship with a format that is conducive to open discussion and questions.

This year, for the first time, poster presentations will be accepted. As with last year the main evidence review will be preceded by a one day workshop.

This year the workshop venue is the wonderful Illawarra Shoalhaven Health Education Centre – 2 workshops run concurrently and then repeated – Facilitation and Debriefing for Crisis Resource Management and Ultrasound including; Vascular Access, Fascia Iliaca and other Nerve Blocks, Ocular, leg and DVT.

The main venue will once again be the Novotel Northbeach, surrounded by parks and beaches, cafes and boutique restaurants. Early March is a delightful time to be by the beach in North Wollongong.

The workshop day is Wednesday 4 March, and the evidence review is on Thursday 5 & Friday 6 March.

You will return to work primed and ready to put evidence into practice.

We hope to see you there.
